Each piece of jewelry is carefully handcrafted in our studio from various media including silver, copper, bronze, semi-precious stones and Swarovski crystals. Our designs are inspired by geometric shapes, elements from the natural world, and travel experiences.
ABOUT
Anna Weeks is a metal artist who, with her husband and son, lives in Northern California, home of the majestic Coastal Redwoods. She grew up in Poland and in 1999 came to the United States to pursue her college education, as well as to explore this country's economic opportunities and experience its creative openness.
The historically rich and artistic Polish culture formed the background of her passion and appreciation for handmade arts and crafts. Throughout her childhood and into adulthood, she was surrounded by the intricate and colorful artistic elements of Polish culture from ceramics and wood carvings to paper cutting and crocheting. Summer trips to the Baltic Sea helped her discover her love for amber and natural gemstones.
She began creating jewelry in 2006 using mostly semi-precious stones and Swarovski crystals. Later, she diversified her base materials to include metal clays such as .999 silver and copper. In recent years, after attending a number of jewelry making workshops and classes from renowned artists such as the British jewelry designer Lucy Walker, she began working with sheet silver. She now works from her home studio in Eureka, California.
"When I came to America from Poland in 1999, I had no idea that my life's journey would lead me to a jeweler's bench. It has been a fascinating and challenging adventure and I hope that one day I can share what I learn with others."
